The hugely popular game, book and movie franchise Resident Evil is, of course, a huge influence on my life – I mean, you know I love my Zombies andĀ Resident Evil focuses largely on a outbreak of Zombies in a fictional American city and the attempts at “containing” that outbreak by a secretive organisation known as Umbrella.
Both me and my friend, Alan Barlow, attended a Horror Convention in Paisley in late 2025; him cosplaying as an Umbrella operative and me; a Zombie. It was just natural then that we got together for a short series of photos, me trying to bite him, he desperately trying to hold be back, blowing out my brains to protect the innocents of Raccoon City; the town at the epicentre of the infection. It was entirely unplanned but the results speak for themselves.
