| General sites | ||
|---|---|---|
| www.amazon.co.uk | Amazon | Former rainforest turned global retailer of pretty much everything. I recommend you avoid buying latex masks from here - they are usually low-quality (despite having very high-quality pictures on their site) and often delivered folded. |
| rubberjohnniesmasks.com | Rubber Johnnies | I may hate the name (it sounds like somewhere you get sex toys from) but there's no denying that the offer some very relistic prop weaponary - they even allow you to customise the paint work. They also offer some very low-quality looking masks - a big range of variety. |
| www.frightprops.com | Fright Props | Sells everything you could ever dream of for a scare eevent from anamatronics to fog machines and horror masks tograveyard set decorations. It is super-expensive but check out there range of fake "Dura" liquids; including "Dura-Blood", "Dura-Slime" and "Dura-Oil" - they are excellent for applying dryable fake blood to masks and props. |
| madabouthorror.co.uk | Mad About Horror | If you want high-quality masks, high-quality prop weapons or any horror collectible and live in the UK; Mad About Horror is the online store to check out. When I have an idea for a new cosplay, this is the first place I go. |
| www.workwearexpress.com | Workwear Express | A place where you can buy basic clothing at low-cost prices (especially good fpr when the work you do is murder). |
| www.ebay.co.uk | Ebay UK | Ebay is pretty much the goto place for second hand stuff (also new things too occasionally). It's rated highly by some but I consider it more of a last-resort as it is all too easy to get scammed - especially when trying to by high-quality masks and props. |

Other horror goodness
| Scare Attractions | ||
|---|---|---|
| www.facebook.com/castlehorror | Castle Horror | The horror people which I call "family" - the first group of scare actors and talented freaks they I got involved with. Castle Horror was where I learned how to become a Zombie - even giving me a certificate to proove it. I owe a lot to this crazy bunch as my life would be a lot less horrorific without them. Sadly, they don't run events much anymore but, if they do, I really recommend them for a terrifyingly good time. |
| www.facebook.com/ScareScotland | Scare Scotland | This is a professional group of horror scare actors based in Scotland. I don't know that much about them other than have put on horror events in the past and have even been involved in film projects. |
| www.facebook.com/newtonfarmholidays | Newton Farm Holidays | Yes you may know these crafty bunch of farmers for their B & B services or award-winning family-centric farming events such as Alpaca Walking and Farm Tours but they have also branched out into the scary side. Newton Farm Haunted Harvest Terror Tours is the name of their horror event - that usually has dates running throughout October. It has recieved rave-reviews so far and tickets sell out quickly when they appearso I would book early for a delightfully chilling night. And what's more, I'm involved - scaring the masses with my own brand of horrific nasties. |
| Horror Conventions | ||
|---|---|---|
| horrorconscotland.co.uk | Horror Con Scotland | If you live in Scotland and you like attending Horror conventions - this is the place to be. It has everything; guests from around the globe, small-scale scare experiences, photo opertunities (with a professional photographer), horror traders, cosplay competitions and themed sections from popular sponsors such as Resident Evil: Requiem. What's more; it grows each year with more famous guestsand so on. |
| www.fortheloveofhorroruk.com | For The Love Of Horror | I've been to this horror convention twice, only stopping when the cheaper alternative convention came to Scotland, where I live. This event is famous for the sheer-number of guests to meet each year, plus the amazing afterparty event for those who want to keep the horror party rocking way into the night. That said, it can get worryingly cramped with the huge nunber of attendees. |

| www.thedeadtimes.co.uk | The Dead Times | As many of you probably know, my love of all-things horror spawned from a deep, deep admiration for Zombies. I did everything; read Zombie books, devoured Zombie movies, played through countless Zombie games and collected hordes of Zombie figures. So enthralled was I by the living dead, I created, managed and ran a website dedicated to celebrating their ghoulish goodness for over ten years! It's no longer being updated but you can still read my mad scribblings on the site right now. The Dead Times will forever be a highlight of my life's work. |
| www.nightmarefuel.co.uk | Nightmare Fuel | This is the website of the professional photographer I use to get shots of my most-bodacious cosplays. It really is an excellent company that, if you or your friends, want pictures taken of them in faked horror situations and a very friendly environment, I would highly recommmend. They also do wedding photography and other non-horror things. |
